Pan American World Airways, known from its founding until 1950 as Pan American Airways and commonly known as Pan Am, was the principal and largest international air carrier in the United States from 1927 until its collapse on December 4, 1991. Now fast forward to 2017 and you are now able to get the Pan Am Experience.

Now pack your bags, head to LAX and get ready to board Pan Am.

Upon arrival you are greeted by a mock LAX sign at the entrance in sunny beautiful Pacoima, CA at Air Hollywood. As you enter you check in to your flight you are greeted by a beautiful Pan Am gal. As you walk around the lobby you are able to see original Pan Am uniform, plane goodies, etc. back when Pan Am was a working airline.

Being able to see original pieces of the craft was remarkable. As you walk around the lobby you are able to get a specialty cocktail, glass of wine or even a shot at the open bar before boarding your flight. As you hang around and chat with other guests alike a throwback tune comes on and you are greeted by the pilots and the gorgeous stewards.

All aboard the Pan Am!

As you board your aircraft, you get the opportunity to walk around the plane and see all original parts of the Pan Am. As you take your seats you get prepared to take off.

“Hello Everyone and welcome to The Pan Am Experience.” – Pan Am Steward

From the magazines, movies shown and even the opportunity to buy come souveneirs everything is from the past when Pan Am was a working airline. They really give you the full experience and are almost convinced you are traveling off to a destination. The dinner offered was made to perfection and who wouldn’t like a open bar to go with that.

Overall The Pan Am Experience was the best flight I have been on in a while. So, if you want another date night idea, be sure to do the Pan Am Experience.
