Between sets. Ready to take the stage. After the encore. Welcome to the captivating world of Giuseppe Zanotti Design’s Fall Winter 2016 advertising campaign.
Photographed by Mario Sorrenti and featuring models Grace Hartzel and Josh Beech, the images capture the contemporary edge of the new Giuseppe Zanotti Design Fall Winter 2016 collection. Channeling the backstage mood of an indie band on tour, the evocative imagery portfolio evokes a series of intimate moments between Hartzel and Beech.
“I wanted the campaign to feel a bit voyeuristic,” says designer and founder Giuseppe Zanotti. “Like you’re backstage with the band, seeing what goes on away from the glare of the public eye.”
Hard-edged black and silver music equipment cases present a minimalist setting and form a stark contrast to the richly elaborate Fall Winter 2016 collection.
Key women’s styles include the dazzling NEVADA cowboy boot, which, embellished with hundreds of colorful micro-crystals, is an incredible homage to the designer’s craftsmanship; the BELLE sandals, adorned with a starburst of crystals, as well as the BETTY pump, a stacked heel platform with an all-over contrast glitter effect.
From the men’s collection, the campaign highlights the sleek JACKSON loafer in velvet, the ANDIE leather lace-ups with a metal toecap detail as well as the new edition of the best-selling SHARK high-top sneakers.
Special ready-to-wear pieces perfectly complement the mood, with the patent leather mini dress and embroidered zip-up track jacket taking center stage.
