TashaMano is a brand on a mission to escape into a world of allure, femininity and grace with a sophisticated edge. TashaMano is committed to fascinate and charm, daze and impress. Two sisters, Natalia Tumanova and Victoria Tumanova, who graduated from Kiev National Design University, launched the clothing brand 4 years ago. Their pieces combine Ukrainian and Eastern elements, exotic and practical, futuristic and romantic components. The background of their style is elegant sexuality and accentuated female image. The collections are made using exclusively natural fabrics (silk, linen, and cotton), lace, original accessories and unique decisions.
The two beautiful brand owners presented at the just concluded Eye on Fashion organized by Spy News Magazine (and its partners Russian Day Company and Peinan Zhang Trading). We had a moment with the designers and asked them some questions about their SS17 collection.
Spy News Magazine: Tell about yourselves and your professional career?
Victoria: We are two sisters, and since our childhood we’ve been fascinated with the world of fashion, as both of our parents are designers and very creative people. Guess, it was meant to be. After graduating the University in Ukraine we attended educational course in Academy of Fine Arts in Budapest (Hungarian Royal Academy of Fine Arts). We launched TashaMano four years ago, successfully presented our collection at the Ukrainian Fashion Week.
Spy News Magazine: Where do you get inspiration from?
Natalia: We live in a very beautiful world. Inspiration is everywhere. You just need to open your eyes and breathe it in. I must admit that traveling helps a lot, being surrounded with beautiful people, the authenticity of countries and everything in-between is always a source of inspiration for us.
Spy News Magazine: How do you want women to feel when they wear your clothes?
Victoria: The vast majority of us spend a lot of time focused on our own external appearance, but we all should remember that real beauty comes from within. This is very important. We pay attention to the materials that we use, all our fabrics are eco-friendly. Women feel most attractive when something fits them well, moves in an elegant way, made of a nice fabric. When a woman is in love with her outfit, she even walks differently. TashaMano makes women feel beautiful.
Spy News Magazine: We are in love with your SS17 collection. Where can we buy it?
Victoria: You can buy SS17 collection in our shop in Kiev, also we have distributors in the Middle East, and, hopefully, next by the end of this year it would be possible to buy in Europe.
