Roberto Cavalli presented in one of the events filling the agenda of the Fuorisalone the latest collection of Roberto Cavalli Home, its line of interior design and home accessories. The numerous guests were welcomed by Renato Semerari, CEO of the Roberto Cavalli Group, at the flagship store in via Montenapoleone, transformed for the occasion into an elegant, dramatic setting.

The event premiered some of the most iconic pieces of the collection, whose inspiration found new evolutionary impetus in the vision brought to the House by Peter Dundas in recent months. The Norwegian designer has infused his distinctive rock and bohemian mood in the rich DNA drawing the founding elements of the style of Roberto Cavalli Home.

The collection features two main themes: Musician’s Home, in which dark colours lit by sudden metallic flashes enhance the sumptuous textures of the precious materials, paying a glamourous homage to the world of rock stars; and Bohemian Glam, echoing instead the enthusiastic, sensual atmosphere of the hippie movement in the Seventies, reinterpreting the colourful prints and animal patterns typical of Cavalli in a number of exquisitely refined artifacts.

The soft, sinuous lines of the anthracite hand-cut velvet sofa divide in separate sittings. Together with the long-haired fur or mink patchwork cushions, with the precious covers in bronzed mink, and with the shiny black glass of the large vases, matched with golden metal in the table lamps or cluster-shaped chandeliers, it gives life to a deeply nocturnal, strong and contemporary universe. Tableware and linens are coloured by the vivid and luxurious theme of the new Golden Flowers motif, while the wallpaper draws from the Florentine House’s archives changing the shades of an optical, stylized graphic design.

Displayed in its entirety on the boutique’s lower floor, the new collection is also showcased at the Salone del Mobile, where the brand had two stands: the first one exclusively dedicated to home furniture and décor and to the Murano glasses, the second one to linens and the magnificent tableware.

Famous in the world for the style in the choice of materials, matchings and workmanship making the House one of the most celebrated Italian luxury brands, Roberto Cavalli Home is the result of the cooperation with six partners, chosen to develop as many different families of product: JC Passion for home furniture and décor; Industrie Emiliana Parati for the wallpapers; Gruppo Ceramiche Ricchetti for the ceramic coverings for walls and floors; Mirabello Carrara for the textiles and bed, bathroom and table linens; La Murrina for the lamps and the Murano glass accessories; and Arnolfo di CambioCompagnia Italiana del Cristallo for the art de la table.
