In Florence twice a year the city turns to a peacock, a peacock characterized by elegance, style and colour, the event is Pitti Uomo 90, it started the 14th to 17th June it has created a story of elegance and style and a selection of images that will serve as a reference for those who wants to know and those who will born.

Pitti Uomo always promises to give life to an impressive open air event in which fashion, culture and Italian excellence have a perfect harmonization and has always been synonymous with style and elegance at international level.

IM_8830Pitti Uomo is a fashion catwalk parade without a runway; it’s a peacock parade of style and elegance- a touted Florentine showcase where you will the season’s menswear trends. As always the event is a display of Italian sartorial style and an abundance of colour which is why Pitti peacock is a perfect name to call this event. We caught up with some of the trend at the event.

The Locals Boys on the ground. What is the Pitti event without Italian sartorial excellence? Think bright Mediterranean blues or those bright summer colours in fitted silhouettes, necktie or neck scarves. It was suiting that truly shines at Pitti 90.

Pitti’s dandy gentlemen opted for large-square check suits, Mafioso stripes and magnificent shoes – think syrupy brown, cream or navy loafers, some with tassels, and all elegant.Wannabe Rocker. Have you seen Jonny Depp Dior advert? Yeah that is properly images that come to mind when you see some of these trend setters at the event, I mean what will the Pitti event be without a rebellious slew of wannabe rocker. Think about ripped jeans with vintage T-shirt lots of tattoos beaming down arms, neck and hands.  Statement colour BLAZERS emerged as a huge trend at the Pitti event. Blazers paired with jeans and loafers (no sock) or a pair of high end sneakers, the outfit appears effortless.

IM_8455There’s evidence of double denim occupying the street style space, too – and it’s not just reserved for younger men. Plenty of mature-age Italians wearing denim vests matched with white T-shirts, navy chinos and a denim blazer for a preppy impression. This is where a city wardrobe of must-haves includes tailored style with a nod to casual. Accessories, rings from burnished, to oxidised to neat and bright, in a symbolic signet with jewel and plain band – wide and flat to the finger
