One of the most incredible designers representing the country is Nguyen Cong Tri. We could spend hours in his shop, marveling at the stunning clothes he created.
Nguyen Cong Tri was born in 1978 in Da Nang, Vietnam. He studied industrial design and graduated in 2001. He began his fashion career and gained recognition by winning awards like the New Idea of Vietnam Collection Grand Prix in 2000 and the Bay FM Award of Asia Collection in Japan. He also placed as the second runner-up in the Asia Fashion Collection in Singapore in 2001.
Since 2002, Nguyen Cong Tri has been a well-known fashion designer for A-list Vietnamese celebrities. He established his own brand, NGUYEN CONG TRI, which became the first couture house in Vietnam.
Over the span of 10 years, he showcased his collections, numbered from No.1 to No.10, at significant fashion events such as the Vietnamese International Fashion Week and Tokyo Fashion Week. He received prestigious domestic awards and was recognized in the Black Sheep category by Not Just A Label. In 2014, he became the first Vietnamese member of the Asia Couture Federation.
In 2016, Nguyen Cong Tri launched his luxury label called CONG TRI. The brand represents elegance, grace, and style, and has attracted a high-profile customer base, including celebrities and influential figures in Vietnam. International stars like Rihanna, Katy Perry, Gwen Stefani, and Jacqueline Fernandez are among the famous names who appreciate his designs.
