The graceful strength of the trapeze artist has taken our breath away, yet left us buzzing with ideas. Stage lights reflecting off a flexing feline form as it flies through the air has inspired a colorful all-over lens-flare Reflecting Lights print that has, in turn, been applied across body-con silhouettes to form a collection that honors the dazzling costumery of aerobatic performance.
Skinny pencil skirts and leggings feature all over prints or cut away sections, while shorts sport clear nylon overlays. New silhouettes include a dropped shoulder sweater with cut away hip and a track top and sweater with elbow cut outs while bands of three stripe taping frame contour-defining cuts. Footwear repeats the Reflecting Lights graphic on the cult favorite Adilette while the crowd pleasing ZX FLux is wrapped up in trapeze inspired bandage taping. Details such as see-through mesh, transparent detailing and multiple layers create show-stopping effects in the new Tubular Defiant and Superstar Slip On. A knee high sock with bold cut outs completes Rita’s latest range with adidas Originals with a perfectly executed flip on expectations.
