With the pianist playing live covers of hit songs you can’t help but get lost in the ambience. As you approach the Beverly Hills Hotel valet you see red carpet rolling up from when you step out of the car all the way up to when you walk into the hotel. Being treated with up most respect almost feeling like royalty you wish you were getting that treatment everyday.

This historic place gives you a blast from the past into the journey through the Polo Lounge has started. You can have any meal here at anytime of day between 7am to 1.30am. Be sure to make reservations if you plan on coming to explore. It is usually booked to capacity and you want to make sure you have a smooth experience here and an enjoyable time!

If you have the pleasure to come here for breakfast and dinner and the experience was beyond what I could think of. For breakfast you get the choice to get sat outside in the patio or in the dining room. Once sat you quickly forget you are in the city.

The décor, perfect Los Angeles weather and the diverse staff you almost believe you are no longer in LA. The staff is completely friendly and love to be at service for you. The breakfast menu has a lot of choices to choose from. One signature dish to have is the Pink Palace Breakfast ($36) and came with choice of freshly brewed coffee, an assortment of hot tea, freshly squeezed orange juice or grapefruit juice. This is the meal, which was smoke salmon soft scrambled, lemon ricotta pancakes, with a side of fruit and berries and is delicious.

When arriving for dinner once again there is a menu full of delicious options. No matter what you have you will not be disappointed. There is a specific dinner, which is the Alaskan Halibut and was impeccable. The way it was prepared was exactly how it was described on the menu and you are guaranteed not to be disappointed and while you sip a glass of champagne it is exactly what you need to enjoy your evening at the Polo Lounge.

As you end the evening you are given the finest desserts the lounge could offer. The delectable Chocolate Soufflé and their Cheesecake, both filled with fresh ingredients that melt in your mouth and satisfies your sweet tooth.

The Polo Lounge is a great sophisticated place to go to and if you can’t come for breakfast or dinner, they have an “Afternoon Tea” and “Jazz Sunday Brunch” which is only available on Friday and Saturday from 3pm-5pm. At only $40 a person you get a selection of teas, a selection of miniature savory canapés and tea sandwiches and lastly a collection of cakes and lastly make sure to make reservations for this afternoon tea as the spaces fill up quickly.

For the “Sunday Jazz Brunch” at only $67 a person or $30 for children 10 and under you gets a choice of alcoholic drink, appetizer, entree and choice of dessert. The menu is filled with a variety of items and may be difficult to narrow down something you want to try.

However, if it is your first time always ask your waiter or waitress what they recommend because they are never wrong about their recommendation. With this lounge being placed in a fantastic location, from the time you arrive to the time you depart it is an amazing experience. There is no disappointment when you come here and rather you cannot help but just smile and enjoy every minute of your experience.

Being known for the most elite for Old Hollywood it may not be the cheapest place to go to, but every penny spent is worth it. There is a presence that the hotel alone and as you walk through the lobby and make the slight right to this fabulous restaurant, it is like you are walking through a scene in the Titanic lobby.
