Tran Phuong My was born in 1988 in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam. After studying at the Academy of Art University in San Francisco and graduating with honors, Phuong My has dedicated herself to achieving perfection in every aspect of her fashion career.
She pays meticulous attention to even the smallest details, from the design and production process to providing excellent client service. Unlike other designers in Vietnam who work with local fabrics, Phuong My has taken a different approach. She has strategically outsourced her fabric production to select partners in Paris, Milan, Hong Kong, and Tokyo. This allows her brand, PHUONG MY, to offer the best blend of materials and exclusivity, which has been instrumental in the brand’s success.
Phuong My’s creative talents shine through her work as the Chief Designer for the PHUONG MY brand. She also undertakes production and styling projects for prestigious fashion magazines like ELLE, Harper’s BAZAAR, and VOGUE. With a strong determination to create only exceptional pieces, this young designer aspires to expand her vision to the global fashion scene.
