Nay’s new resort wear collection is like a breath of light, delicate, fresh summer air, a way to reconnect with nature, thanks to natural, flowy materials, oversized volumes, and pure/ raw colors. The collection is a reflection of our own memories of enjoying a serene summer in pure comfort, elegance, and escaping from all the madness that we’ve all been living through.
Nay is a sustainable, conscious, and ethical resort wear brand made up of suppliers and producers, united together, in a weft of affection for and with nature. Their creative process is artisanal and unique, using complex and detailed ancestral techniques. The label transmits its Brazilian identity and essence through distinctive embroideries, while always striving for the highest quality fabrics and finishings. Nay believes in free spirit, influenced by the way one treats the planet and the people, the reason why the brand respects and defends organic and transparent work.
Timeless, Nay values comfort and quality in all production processes, creating garments for moments of celebration and joy, for free-spirited women who like to travel and relish nature. Their color palette ranges from neutral and earthy tones with touches of light and bright, vibrant colors that can be seen in designs carefully developed as well as embroideries, which are handmade and created to be unique and special. The label works ethically in all steps of the creations, being in close contact with everyone that is a part of it, wishing to make their lives better. The uniqueness of each piece is directly connected to the energy and dedication of each individual that is included in this process.
The inspiration comes from moments of connection with nature, when feeling free to connect with their essence, leaving aside limiting beliefs, that move us further away from the certainty that we are all part of one big energy. More than just fashion, Nay wants to create long-lasting and timeless pieces that contribute to the reduction of waste. They aspire to influence designers, creators, and consumers to make the right choices that will positively impact the world.
Nay was founded by Adriana Senise in 2020, with the intention of building a brand that is ethical and fair toward the manufacturing process and chain of production.
From the beginning of cultivation to the seamstresses and embroiderers, their mission is not only to create garments, but to establish a lifestyle where one can contribute to human, economic, and social development, as well as the recycling of raw materials that would otherwise be discarded by the conventional textile industry, therefore transforming them into new fabrics and products.
