The team that works forFranck Genser behind the scenes since 2015, supports this self-taught, sensitive and talented designer. The team consists of designers from well-known schools like “École De Condé”, “École Camondo”, the ENSCI ateliers; artisans from “L’école Boulle”, the Paris furnishing school; engineers graduated by Centrale-Supélec, Pierre and Marie Curie and the Technology University in Compiegne. Altogether, they generate a fusion of exchanges and experimentations. In 2019, they were ready to launch the interior design brand Franck Genser with its exclusive furniture design.

During the Cannes film festival from May 14th to May 25th 2019, Franck Genser took the opportunity to approach the art of cinema by displaying two pieces of furniture, which define their DNA. The armchair Salamandre was a centerpiece in the showroom enabling celebrities to pose elegantly. The “siège de conversation” Désolé, mobile and curious, was a star during the festival: walking on the red carpet, sunbathing on the Croisette and partying with world-known celebrities.

Soon after, under the Grand Palais nave, amongst 340 talents from all around the world, it was the first opportunity for Franck Genser to meet journalists, buyers, to do some interviews and to assert their position.

During their launch evening event at the Totem showroom, Franck Genser made a speech and explained the philosophy behind his design and the brand’s core values.

Franck Genser also explores the work environment of a 21st-century leader. Inspired by the Salon Doré, the official work space of the French president, Franck Genser expressed his vision of design in which power is exercised through the relationship. The pieces of furniture show values such as warm authority, protection, dialog and diplomacy.

This year, several other projects are in progress. Franck Genser will open a showroom in Paris in the coming weeks. This showroom will welcome art and cultural events and will be a center for intellectual and cultural exchanges around the future of design. The brand will also be present at the next OFF by Maison & Objet in January 2020.
