From October 16 to 18, 2018 ASSOPELLETTIERI and MIPEL went to Seoul for the fifth edition of the exhibition-event “MIPEL Leather goods Showroom in Korea” that took place at Park Hyatt Hotel in Gangnam.
The showroom has been organized thanks to the support of ITA- Italian Trade Agency and Ministry of Economic Development got bigger: the 28 leather goods companies expanding the overview of the leather products and showing the care for details typical of Italian know-how with a group of furrier’s companies of AIP-Associazione Italiana Pellicceria and TheOne exhibition.
More than 450 korean buyers visited the event. Some of them are: BINASCO, CJ HOMESHOPPING, DUO TRADING, GALERIA.COM, GS HOMESHOPPING, HYUNDAI DEPARTMENT STORE, KOLON, LF, LOTTE.COM, LOTTE DEPARTMENT STORE, LOUIS QUARTORZE, METROCITY, SAMSUNG, SHILLA.
In the the event was also presented the special co-lab project between leather goods companies and emerging designers: Arcadia e Irma Cipolletta, Cromia e Michele Chiocciolini, Claudia Firenze e Annalisa Caricato, Tucano e Laurafed. These partnerships show the meeting between creative inspiration and craftmanship, tradition and modernity, innovation and functionality.
Great enthusiasm for the “POP UP ” into Hyundai Coex and Hyundai Pangyo, where Italian leather goods product meet Korean tastes.
