Blessed summer days everyone, where the light of morning come upon us uninvited. On these days we are reminded of the endless transformation of seasons and the abundance all around us with the sun taking the lead and the moon on a partial vacation. I don’t wish for a retrograde but I wish it can be harmonizing, creating peaceful balances of understanding.
Haute Couture is slowly dying. Back in it prime, there were 106 fashion designers who showed during couture week; today there are less than 20. Plus, it has to go in the ring with the ever-growing, grand-scale Cruise shows to compete with, which have already flown fashion editors to far flung destinations from Cuba and Rio, with the Chanel and Louis Vuitton of this world stealing the show. My wish is that it takes clue from the sun and more. So here you are with breathtaking designs in our latest Paris Haute Couture week. Let’s enjoy the beauty as it is while it last.
