On the occasion of the 2016 International Milano Furniture Fair N°21 and Kartell join forces once again. This time Alessandro Dell’Acqua takes his partnership with the leading design company forward by creating an exclusive macramé shade for Ferruccio Laviani’s “Tatì” lamp.

A rectangular table lamp ultra clean of design, “Tatì” has a distinct Art Deco flair. What makes it so original is the fact that the chrome-base lamp comes in a clear PMMA enclosure. And now it also features a fashionable N°21 macramé lace shade in powder pink, black and white versions. Hence, “Tatì” captures a perfect synthesis between Kartell’s trademark severity as to materials and shapes and N°21’s unique sense of sensuality and levity.

Alessandro Dell’Acqua, N°21 founder and Creative Director, comments on the joint effort: «Thanks to Kartell, once again I had the chance to experiment with new materials. My crossover into the world of interior design enables me to explore what are for me totally new techniques and ways of mixing materials. As in the case of my collections, the “Tatì” lamp makes a statement that’s at once coherent and out of character, sparking fancy with an unusual – and for me, iconic – element such as lace.»
