First off, this video is fantastic because the audience gets to follow a character not only his outside world but also in is head space. Second, the color change throughout the video accurately represents the characters mood change.
“Wherever I Go” Starts off with dull colors and the main characters expression is plain and extremely unfulfilled. As the music video progresses, the colors change from grays to bright blues, pinks and other. He is seemed to go back to a place of joy and happiness.
So much detail and effort was put into this video that makes it an eye opening experience. Some people really go through life with a blank stare rather than a colorful notion of joy but that’s the impact a person can have. One Republic does make an appearance in the video playing and singing the song for a bit. Overall, great visuals for the lyrics.
