Tunis Fashion week – For this 8th edition under the sign of “Chaabi chic“, Tunis fashion week took place inside the legendary amphitheater of Carthage.This upscale private event offered luxurious podium to Tunisian and international designers . The programming was eclectic and included fashion shows, art exhibitions, lectures, parties, meetings among the craft, industrial and creators during cocktails.Tunis Fashion Week brought together prestigious, high society guests, government officials, artists and designers in one place.

MADEMOISELLE HECY

After graduating in Esmod Tunis, Hend Gasmi and Cyrine Faillon, two passionate young fashion designers decided to join forces and imagine their ideal wardrobe. They dreamed of Mademoiselle Hecy to go from day to evening wear for a modern young woman, feminine and subtly shifted . Mademoiselle Hecy is a way of being and wearing the garment creates a mixture of grace, femininity and a carefree feeling.

It also represents the young woman today, open to the world and culture with delicate charm that appeals greatly through a “cool chic” style and personality. Finalist of the Mediterranean Fashion Prize 2015, Mademoiselle Hecy was present at the exhibition organized by the Mediterranean House of Fashion Crafts in Marseille (held at Galeries Lafayette Haussmann).

LUDOVIC WINTERSTAN

Ludovic Winterstan always knew he wanted to work in fashion.He fall in love with fashion while studying the work of Pierre Soulages, Marcel Duchamp or Joseph Beuys. After studying fashion in the South of France, Ludovic Winterstan perfected within ready-to-wear “Atelier”. At the same time, he begins to define his style through various artistic collaborations. In Paris, he continued working for major fashion houses of ready-to-wear and launch his own creations.

In July 2015, he presented his first couture collection “BLACK”, during Paris fashion week and in January 2016 his second couture collection “Rupture”. Each channeling the image of cinema icons he loves. Ludovic Winterstan imagine female fighters in perfect elegance and imposes its feminine style, dark and poetic.

On the podium in Tunisia glam-rock looks has a gothic inspirations. The outfits in leather lace and feathers are richly decorated with metal chains and Swarovski rhinestones. The masks, headdresses adorn teats dummies creating a chic and magical look with a touch of provocation.
